Accidentally named after the Richard Scarry’s children’s book, ‘Cars and Trucks and Things That Go, this body of work poses recollection and forgetting as a central living relationship. Cyclical movement and seemingly static memory meld into both-ness.
Experiencing the present in a type of fugue state while defacing the past and the powers that shape personal history are conditioned aspects of a haunting. This weathered and malleable evocation of life questions what realities we may age with, give into, or gambour dissent.
